Emergency Reversed Through Prayer

Mum and I had gone with two friends from Church for a snack, to a new massive Marks and Spencer about a mile away from home. Afterwards Mum and her friend decided they would like to go and look at the fashions downstairs, but Mum realised she did not have her card with her, so I said well just call me when you are ready to pay and I will come with mine.

After some time I got a call from the friend to say, “Can you come with your card, and your Mum is sitting down.” We hurried down to find Mum very limp and strange. Our friend said Mum wanted water and rushed off to get it, but Mum could not drink it, so I tried to drip some from my fingers to her lips. However she rapidly deteriorated and could not respond or communicate, even though all three of us were encouraging her with any truths that came to mind.

She seemed to lose all use of her limbs and neck and a few people came up to see if they could help. Then Mum made a strange noise and seemed to be gone completely. I immediately announced, “I am going to call a practitioner,” and stepped just outside the gathering. The practitioner answered immediately and said, “I’m on the case.” Instantly I stepped back to see Mum rallying. Shortly after an M&S person arrived with a wheelchair, and said an ambulance was on its way. There was a delay, but we managed get Mum in the chair and whole group of us set off for the outside doors!

By the time the ambulance arrived, Mum got up with a little help and climbed in. They left the doors open and asked Mum how she was and she confirmed very loudly that she was fine. They asked her various identity and awareness questions, which she answered very brightly, politely and loudly. They asked if she would mind being tested and she agreed. Then they invited me in and assured me they had no concerns about her and explained they thought she had just overdone it, although it had seemed more serious to us. They asked if she’d like to go to hospital to be reassured, and she said again very loudly and firmly, “No I would not, thank you.”

So we set off back to our cars. Our friends thought we should go to a café for a drink, as I seemed to be a bit in shock. I briefly called the practitioner to thank her for her prayer, and to say that Mum was as bright as always again. As we left the café, I assured everyone that I was fine and would drive home. Our friends kindly insisted on following us, but all was well and Mum remained so.
