This year I have chosen to study the Christ more deeply as my particular focus, and I have loved it and the blessings it has brought. It is so much included in the Platform too, which has linked all the reading together beautifully.
I have gained a much richer, closer and warmer sense of the Christ than I ever had before and this of course has touched everything that has unfolded during the year. There have been many lovely healings, one of which was of a broken arm without even the need of plaster and the result has been beautiful. Another was of a badly gashed leg being restored.
Another was a healing of a work situation. I had a call from a family member totally overloaded with very difficult work situations, in particular with a business colleague. During the call there was not much that I could share except, “The right way wins the right of way” (My 232:6), and that could be received happily. However I felt so sure that the one who called could only rise from faith to resurrection, and that works of love are all that our hands or thoughts can employ, not anger, frustration, or despair. This was such a sweet message that had come as an answer to prayer. After this much came to the surface and was tenderly but firmly dealt with, and the picture continues to resolve and progress.
Innumerable things have been resolved this year, all helped by the new views gained. Most of all I am grateful for a wonderful sense of joy, peace, happiness, and well being within, enabling me to be there for others, and to share and give freely. One thing I stay with constantly is, “Surely (assuredly and without any doubt) goodness and mercy shall follow me, (surround me, uphold me, support me and all mankind) all the days of my life.”
This has also helped me change a situation of being a slightly anxious passenger when driven by others. I worked over a period with the fact that the Christ is guiding, guarding, protecting, upholding everyone on the road, and that assuredly goodness and harmony shall follow us, and be around us and with us, all the days and ways of our journeys of life. This has truly broken the dream of anxiety, and the difference has been remarkable and commented on too by others!
