Out of the multitude of healings I have experienced over a lifetime with Christian Science, I wish to give into Love’s fruit basket, with deepest gratitude to God, my humble healing of a life-lived lesson, experienced in obedience to homework given me by my Christian Science practitioner when I was fourteen years old.
I was having dire reactions ever since I awakened to the severe consequences of not passing exams. Just the mere thought of a composition needing to be completed before the end of the week, or a test of any sort, would send my thoughts into a frenzied freeze mode and I’d end up in fear-filled tears of frustration.
During the holidays, this dedicated and loving practitioner gave me the passage to learn from Science and Health, where our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, explains how a proper understanding of the term Science “...refers only to the laws of God and to His government of the universe, inclusive of man...” through to the end of the paragraph, which tell us of our “native air of insight and perspicacity.” (S&H 128)
I not only learned it, but imbibed it, and in every instance, when properly applied with a humble heart with fear expelled, under circumstances filled with challenging opportunities, I can truly testify that I have been victoriously guided, protected, and provided for, through many worldly tests, by this reliance on the one all-knowing Mind, as taught in Christian Science.
For all that this Science is giving to the world in moment by moment healing ideas straight from divine Love, as shown to us in the demonstrable love of our Master, Christ Jesus, and our wisest of Leaders, Mary Baker Eddy, I give thanks.
