"Precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little." Isaiah 28:10
Another testifier writes: “I had been struggling with an important report where I felt I needed to ‘march in’ and tell my Director what to do. But a testimony given at church one Wednesday made me realise that what I most needed was to pray about it, and that would bring the right ideas into view.
The next morning I went into work late so I would have longer to read the Lesson. That day I realised what the recommendations were that I should give my Director. However, the implication was that we needed £60,000 of extra funding over two years, which seemed out of the question.
The Director accepted her recommendations, but when presenting them to the Local Council they said there was no way. She sat there thinking this must be the end of the project. Then the Council officer went and got a funding application form for a source we would not normally be eligible to apply to. As a result of this we have been given the full amount we needed.
I felt it was so clearly an example of letting God enable everyone to play their part, and bringing all ideas together at the right time and in the right way to see his plan unfolding.
