It had always been my wish to be among you as we share ideas on Christian Science and how we apply its truth to enrich our way of life. It has been four good years since I came to Association, basically because I have been refused Visa.
These past four years has been challenging and rewarding. As a single mother, with the help of Albert Baker Fund, I am now in School. I also operate a small shop and also was working as a supervisor at a Gas Station which I recently gave up to concentrate on my education.
I want to share an experience I have had. Before Albert Baker Fund assisted me to get back to school, the program had not reached Ghana, so at the time so there was no one to interview me. What was amazing was that with a reference from Fenella they accepted the application and have been paying my fees.
This experience awakened me to the fact that Love really knows no boundaries. I have since tried in my little way to help who ever comes to me. I thought that if people who do not know me can assist me to get back to school, I could also help people I do not know when they approach me.
About a year and half ago, there was these triplets who came from a village outside Accra in search of a job to enable them continue their education. One went back home and the other two had a job in a restaurant near my shop. One evening they approached me and asked that I assist them to get another job since they had just lost one.
What came into mind was that there was no loss since God is everywhere. At that particular moment, I had just been offered the job as a supervisor at a Gas Station and needed someone to run my shop and take my son Michael to school. I took them in and today with the aid of Albert Baker Fund, one of them is in School and is studying Christian Science.
It is good to know and understand God and His ways. In all things, we should gave thanks and know that He is in control and knows what is best for you at his own time. I don't get worried when things do not happen the way I wish it should, knowing that God is at work and will lead me to the right path.
