The Bible implies that the whole duty of man is to glorify God. I am so thrilled knowing well that this is the moment - the day that the Lord has made - to be happy and rejoice in Him.
My heart overwhelms and thrills in great joy in seeing what this Science of Christ has done to my life. It’s the gift of the highest treasure I have, especially in raising my daughter, when I had to let it have its way in my life. “Lo the promise and the fulfilment” unfolds moment unto moment.
At a tender age she proved her God-given knowledge in doing well at school. Like any other parent, indeed she made me proud. My prayer was, "God I know you will forever carry us in that BIG estate of good, and we will forever walk proudly on those stairs of Your palace." This is the greatest witness in my life. God sent His angels over us, which cared for her both in studies and her well-being. Truly they supported me in all ways. God truly bless them.
Under God's protective wings, she grew without fear. She has gone forward in a clearer, finer and more accurate understanding of how to apply Christian Science in her every need. She has thrown off limitation and gone forward to accomplish what God has purposed in her life. Our Leader said, "The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible." (S&H 199:21-22)
I truly love this wonderful statement, "The Bible contains the recipe for all healing.” How true that is come sickness, sin, or disease. The recipe is always there - in the Bible. When we have the right ingredients in the recipe, all works out well. When storms of challenge present themselves we have no fear in us, for we indeed know the recipe that is required. We can never be cast down into a pit of darkness wherein is no light. That is not Christian Science. That is not God's way. We are always protected and sustained by divine principle, Mind.
Paul said in Romans, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” The Bible shows us this light - the spiritual light wherein God is with us, Immanuel is here.
