As a follower of Christ, I let His light shine.
This light of Christ, being mine.
By shining His light, I cannot be harmed;
By shining His light, I can only be blessed.
Safe in His light, I can feel Christ’s might.
Protected from hatred, trouble, or fright.
Not under a bushel, but on top of a hill;
Shining His light is fulfilling God’s will.
As a follower of Christ, I reach out as a ray;
Lightening the shadows and showing the way.
