God is Always With Us

I have been so blessed lately: yesterday I had to go to the dentist for some awful work, and what should have taken one hour took two and a half hours of very painful work. After that I was to go to Austria to celebrate my dad's birthday with my family. Well, I had been up until three AM the night before, and the thought came, after the treatment, at 17:45, "do I really want to spend seven hours alone on the road, especially in the pre-Easter traffic?

I knew my trip was an expression of love, so I set off. I worked on traffic, knowing God is always in the right place and cannot be held back. I sailed smoothly all the way to the border, where roadworks cost me half and hour. The other direction was stalled with hours worth of delays. I felt on cloud nine, knowing it was Spirit who did the driving; I felt elated.

Then it got dark, and about an hour before arrival great fatigue overcame me. I worked on that, opening all the windows, too. At that time the almost full moon rose, and I felt so glad about its beauty, it helped me to keep going until I arrived safely at 1 AM, meeting my sister and her daughter, who had been waiting with a snack, and a good time and happy laughter ensued.

I am so grateful!

Then today, I decided to change a defective light fixture in my dad's kitchen. I went out and bought a modern and powerful one and proceeded with the electrical connections. Well, the cables came in all sorts of strange colours, so I almost felt discouraged from trying. Finally I decided, Mind knows all and manages to do all. I found some instructions on the internet, and with the help of a silver knife in lieu of a screw driver I managed to make it work. The light is soooo beautiful, and my dad was amazed. So was I!
