This past Wednesday my family and I were in New Orleans on holiday and I lost on my one month old iPhone. I took a couple of practical steps, leaving contact details with a bookshop where I thought I'd left it and continued praying about it and knowing the innate honesty and goodness of people.
I was resting as I'd been walking most of the day, and was woken by a call from a shop near the bookshop where the iPhone has been turned in. I was able to go back and collect it and chat with the kind ladies there, and I intend to send them a postcard from Edinburgh as a thank you.
No great quotations were used, just basic truths and an underlying faith in people and God's law.
