"Precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little." Isaiah 28:10
It’s always delightful to be in touch! God has been gracious on me and I thank Him for the overwhelming joy. My preparation to come to Association has been great, with not even a hint of obstacle. I count this a very big blessing.
Kenya is now much more normal. A very great and broad blessing to each of us. We all have reasons to express our gratitude. If not infected by this crisis, most of us have been affected by it! I have no doubt everyone’s prayers truly kept me and my family safe throughout those difficult times. Thank you all so much for your supportive prayers.
Mortal mind acted a ‘big player’ in the community. In the region where I come from, at times we spent sleepless nights gathered outside due to rumours that we would be attacked at night. We totally lived in fear. None wanted to hear the night was approaching - for it was all fearful. Fear became the order of the day. Life seemed not usual anymore. Overwhelming negations and accusations seemed the norm. It was as if we were removed from God's presence. The vulnerability was great and wholly unnecessary. I was hurled into victimization.
I thank God for the Science of Christ which has always taught me that God is my life. I started realizing that fear cannot destroy our trust and confidence in God. I started seeing it is just a belief of the absence of God. New cherishing thoughts filled me. No more argument, no specious stupidity of accusation. Why should I consent to thoughts which were leading me to frustration and failure? I had to make a choice, which was to live in Life, God.
We now live and feel secure in the omnipresence of the Almighty. As Isaiah states, “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."
How reassuring to realize God is the life of man and that we do indeed live in Him.
