I really enjoy walking and have wanted to complete the coastal path around the Gower coast in Wales ( a place of outstanding natural beauty). I had failed to achieve this desire due to a fear of heights. Over a period of 15 years I had attempted on numerous occasions, with a number of different people, to pass a particularly exposed part of the cliff path. But I had suffered great psychological as well as physical distress on each attempt (in other words, fear!!).
The end of Dec. 2007 I was browsing through a holiday brochure of walking holidays. The one that attracted me stated, “Not recommended for people who have a fear of heights!” A feeling of disappointment was quickly followed by a thought saying, "Why are you putting limitations on your life? God does not want you to be limited in any way?" (Angel thoughts, I believe)
I immediately thought of the Gower coastal path and stated to myself that I was going to complete the walk today. I knew without a shadow of doubt that I would overcome the fear, in fact it had already been removed. I phoned a couple of friends who agreed to join me on the walk. It was January 1st 2008!
Mortal mind attempted to convince my otherwise as I travelled to the start of the walk but I kept affirming that the healing had already taken place......I was a child of God, fearless, limitless and free. As I passed "THE" point on the cliff path I had a wonderful feeling of liberation and freedom! Freedom from the bondage of fear. The healing had been instantaneous!
