Healing of Stubborness and Anger

It was a long two-year haul working out the relationship with my new partner.  Many times I was ready to give up, but when I truly turned the situation over to God the relationship would always keep going.  Now I see how much change needed to take place in my own lifelong ways of reacting to things.  I have been prone to stubborness, and needed to master error instead of letting it rule my life. It has been such an important lesson, and healings have been quicker and easier as a result.  As a lovely side effect, I am now in a relationship which is loving, free, nurturing and whole. 

My partner’s own growth and understanding has changed alongside me.  He now expresses more of God’s qualities than ever, and he absolutely LOVES our life together.   He really gets the whole idea of the Christian Science way of life through prayer, and has an innocent expectation that it will work, which is so refreshing for me.  The impact outwards is lovely.  He now handles angry situations at work and in his life by thinking, “Now let me do what I’m learning, and be loving”   And he has often come back with lovely stories of how things worked out, saying, “It works, what you say, it works!!" 

So in the deepest parts of our rural part of the country, where people have never heard of Christian Science, there is a growing 'love' being spread amongst those who normally would simply meet anger with anger.  How great is that?  And had I met someone from my own background those loving outreaches would never have happened – those far away country farmers and workers would never have been exposed to such ideas.  He speaks very openly about what I do, and always gets a positive response. 

Things have indeed totally changed and moved into peace, harmony and joy.  Or as I put it 'Bloomin' Marvellous'.
