"Precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little." Isaiah 28:10
One morning I woke with a pain in my side. The thought occurred to me that it was an organ, so it seemed possibly serious. I even thought that I might not be able to take my son to school. A few minutes later, I started thinking about that week’s Bible Lesson on Reality. I decided to apply what I was gleaning from my study of it. By declaring in thought that matter had no substance, nor any reality (which I had come to understand through the healing mentioned above) and fully believing in what I was declaring, I was instantaneously healed.
The lesson in this healing was twofold: an instantaneous healing truly is possible when we are convinced of what we are affirming, as Mary Baker Eddy informs us; and, that it is within reach even if we have given ear to material claims as long as we don’t take them in.
