Kitten

I am happy to share this moving story for I know who saw and heard it made a difference in his\her life.

On our television recently there was this real story of a dog breastfeeding a kitten. It was narrated by a lady who had kept both. Her major point of view was that all that God created was very good. There are no boundaries in love, only the living of true love, which is the reflection of all the loveliness of divine Love.

The lady stated that when the dog got the puppies there was also this little kitten she had bought. When the puppies breastfed from their mother, the kitten was also not left behind. It felt it was included in the larger family. They felt all as one family.

On the pictures shown you could see the mother dog playing happily with the kitten. There was that mutual love of accepting each other in their lives. The lady stated that they ate together, played together and when the kitten needed to breast feed, the mother dog humbly and lovingly gave in.

It helped me learn the lesson that love has no boundaries. As our leader stated, ”Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea.” SH 323:32-2

This is indeed an advanced idea. Loving not only your own, but embracing the universe – with universal love. We are all part of God's creation, full of intelligence and thoughtfulness. There are many places where we can go and where we cannot be a nuisance to any one, and where the open hand of Love holds us up as well. “We live in an age of Love's divine adventure to be All-in- all.” Every day is an adventure and we continue to grow spiritually as we let Love be in control.
