Dear Father-Mother God,
I thank you, that you are always keeping me in your Mind.
During this year I have seen evidence of your care and presence and might daily! You have kept me going. You have kept me from giving in to fearful and hopeless thoughts day after day after day. You have been there when I didn’t see how to go on. You have provided me with help and support whenever needed. Thank you for the greatest support through prayer, through the patient and firm support of practitioners and our teacher. Thanks for support at work.
Be it with a co-worker for half a year to support us, - showing up out of the blue - who didn’t only support us but bless all around her with her happiness and ease; be it through people volunteering and helping out by taking over certain projects like a student offering to do a visitor-study for us or someone just stepping in and offering a great amount of time and work. It is Your intelligence, wisdom and power which is the Principle behind these experiences.
Prayer has brought a greater sense of harmony and of dominion of good to our relationships at work. And I pray to grow in humility to learn to see the unreality of the disharmony presented to my eyes. To grow in grace, in the ability of seeing through unkindness and strange behaviour to the heart of your creation, all good.
Prayer has lifted me out of dire situations, has provided me with strength, when I felt weak. I have felt your presence and power literally when praying the Lord’s Prayer, walking on the sidewalk, giving me strength and joy. You have given me the courage and the strength to go on a journey to visit my sister and her family, when I didn’t feel like travelling at all. And you have blessed us all with a very harmonious, peaceful and joyful time.
You have given me so many opportunities to love and rejoice – in the beauty all around us, in lovely friends, children and in deeper talks with my family. And you give me a growing understanding of and confidence in your goodness.
I start realising that it is when we reason from the standpoint of absolute Truth, that we see you, feel you, experience your presence and goodness. Because you ARE Truth, because you ARE here and now ruling the universe.
Father-Mother God, help me see, help me awaken to the already present reality of your goodness. And to its practical relevance in our lives. Is that what it means – “a fervent desire for growth in grace”? Thank you for speaking to me, for loving me, for caring for me, thank you for being our God!
