Love Always Wins

At the children's school's Easter service, the Minister finished with the words "Love always wins". As he said it I felt that this would be my fruit basket submission - I am so grateful to know through experience that Love does win. It may not be a showy win, but it's a win deeply felt that impacts every aspect of my life.

This year I've felt an ongoing expansion of my sense of Love. Central to this is greater discipline spotting those thoughts that aren't aligned with Love and deleting them asap. I'm amazed how often I find these thoughts lurking in disguise, trying to avoid detection ;) It's too easy to blame somebody/ something else. Now when I find myself doing this, I go on a hunt until I find the thought in my own thinking that needs resolution, and more Love. This sounds burdensome, but because there's nothing personal about it, it is soooo freeing. And quite amusing the number of times the word 'but...' pops up... followed by what seems to be perfectly reasonable justification.

So this is what I am most grateful for. Learning to love more, growing in love, and knowing that Love does always win.
