A lovely thing happened the other day with a Quaker friend who used to go with me to Wednesday testimony meetings. We had lost touch for a while, and then it came to me to phone her.
Last time we spoke she hadn’t been well. When I rang she seemed a bit down, so it came to me to ask whether she would like me to send her a full text Quarterly. She was oh so grateful! Because she said her daughter keeps on to her about age, she allowed me to read some of the Science and Health citations from that week’s Lesson to her.
When I’d finished she said, “You were meant to ring me today. I feel so much better and refreshed.” Now I’m off to post her my study edition!
