I’m feeling the magnitude of the Lord’s Prayer at the moment in relation to New Orleans and Mississippi. My daughter is going to school each day and at some point of the day she is declaring God’s love for her class- mates, God’s love for her teachers, God’s love for the village, God’s love for Manchester, and gradually expanding it till we have God’s love for the universe! It’s my and her project, and boy you start to sense it being all-encompassing! I did it in Tesco’s the other day and it felt GOOD!
KESIA’S HEALING – in her own words as told to her mum.
Once I woke up with my tooth hurting. I told my mum and she prayed for me. The next day my tooth still hurt, so mum took me to the dentist. When the dentist checked my tooth she said I needed to take some medicine and also have an operation to remove the tooth.
I didn’t take the medicine, and mum and I talked about how God can heal my sore tooth. We talked about Love and making love big and seeing it all around the globe.
A girl at school was being horrible to me and this had been going on for a while. Mum said I had to stop getting cross with her and try to see her in God’s love as well as me.
Mum and I talked about how when my Poppa hugged me, how safe and loved I felt; and we could see that God’s hug is even bigger and surrounds us all. When something hurts, God wraps His love around it.
These are some of the thoughts I wrote down that evening:
GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE GLOBE (written inside picture of light bulb)
Me, my family, and the globe are a light,
and aren’t separated from God’s special path.
Everyone in the globe is equal.
Follow my little feet, guide my special thoughts.
When I went back to the dentist to see about my tooth they said everything was all right and I didn’t need to go to hospital. I also had to keep remembering to see Molly in God’s love, as when I forgot my tooth started to hurt again. Now I try to see my class as in God’s love, and I even have a new friend who is very kind.
