One day as I stood up, I heard a crack and felt a lot of pain in my back. I found I could not stand up. I was concerned because the pain was getting unbearable and because I needed to take a trip the following day.
I decided to make it an opportunity to demonstrate the truth of Christian Science. As I took up my copy of Science and Health, I read “...being is holiness, harmony, immortality. It is already proved that a knowledge of this, even in a small degree will uplift the physical and moral standard of mortals...’ (S & H 492:6 – 8) . Mary Baker Eddy says that ‘Truth (God) is always the victor.’ (S & H 380:4).
Also I was inspired by this idea from God. Part of the definition of God is ‘...all-acting.’ I realised God is always moving forward in the marvellous unfoldment of right ideas expressed as man. Since man reflects Truth, he is always powerful and is moving forward under the control of God.
The following morning when I started my journey, I realised I was perfect and whole.
I am very grateful for this new understanding.
