S&H Sharing

I thought you might like to know that my association S&H hasn't even made it back home!  After I caught my train a lady came to sit next to me.  She began to tell me all about herself and her beliefs.  We chatted about all sorts of things from buddhism to numerology. As we talked, I suddenly remembered the treasure I had in my bag, so out it came and went straight to its new owner!  She noticed the 'Key to the Scriptures' and told me how she loved the Bible, and she then spoke about angels.  I was able to show her the definition in the Glossary.  We've exchanged phone numbers, so I'm sure there'll be more contact.  I'm thrilled to see yet again that God is working His purpose out.

I wanted to let you know that I handed out a copy of Science and Health the day after Association last year.  After the tea party on Sunday I had inadvertently picked up a back-pack thinking it belonged to the friend who was travelling with me.  However, it didn’t –  It belonged to someone else who was leaving for America the next day. 

I discovered this mistake when I got back to where I was staying, which was quite a distance away, so I called a taxi.  Boy, I had to pray about that one!  But, the trip was wonderful, and the driver and I talked about Christian Science and the Muslim religion the whole way.  Not surprisingly, the trip was harmonious. 

When we got back after the round trip I got him the copy of Science and Health which I’d picked up at Association.. He accepted it warmly. It was a great experience.  We each showed great respect (and curiosity about and interest in each other's religion).

I was again asked to serve at the Mind Body Spirit Festival in London at the end of May.  I sold two textbooks to young girls, and was amazed at what I was being led to say!  One of the girls was from Lithuania, and she took a Russian translation as well as a Journal.  We looked up the contacts under Latvia, Kazakstan, and Moscow for her.  She went away absolutely beaming!  It was a real joy to see.
