So Many Blessings

“O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name: for thou has done wonderful things;” (Isaiah 25:1)

I am so grateful for so many healings and demonstrations over the past year and seven months since I took class instruction. I can say that my life has changed profoundly and is continuing to change for the better both in my personal home life, and professionally. If I described each one in detail, it would fill a book, so I will just list them here.

I have witnessed and experienced healings of family discord, verrucas, migraine headaches, tonsillitis, colic and blocked intestines, truancy from school and poor grades, central heating and hot water boiler malfunction (believe it or not!), depression, chronic anxiety, financial difficulties, chronic disorder in the home (work still in progress), protection from reacting to deliberate provocation, many lost items found, stiff badly functioning leg and arm, pulled back muscles, wounded Achilles tendon, pistol wound to cat’s eye, dog’s eye infection, unsatisfactory employment, lack of qualifications, strained relationships, tiredness and fatigue, emotional distress, guilt, poor self-esteem, flu...

I am particularly grateful to have been able to share Christian Science with a number of people, to offer comfort and aid in moments of illness or difficulty, and to lend copies of Science and Health. This has blessed me as it led me to a deeper study of parts of the Bible and M. B. Eddy’s writings and helped me in some measure to follow our Master’s command to cast out demons and heal the sick. I have also rejoiced in a more active and fulfilling church membership and been of some service to our First Reader in travelling to church and have invited guests to attend. I am so grateful to God, to Jesus our Wayshower, to the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, to all those who supported her in the establishment of our wonderful movement, for all the workers in the field to date, and to our own dear teacher for all her insight and encouragement.
