I had a wonderful experience. In the wee hours one morning a friend called me from another country, really upset that it was the last working day of the month and he had not been paid. He was supposed to have been paid on the 13th of the month, and he was livid!
After he talked for a while I just listened, and then asked him what he hadn’t done. He realized he hadn’t prayed about it! Anyway he calmed down a little and rang off.
I just lay there praying, and acknowledging that there was no loss. About half an hour later he called back to say all was well. He had been able to speak to a manager at the agency and the issue had been resolved.
To me it was such proof of the presence of God all around us. I was so pleased that I didn’t buy into the fact that the agency may have been unscrupulous, or that there was something amiss, but rather just held steadfastly to the truth.
