For the past year, I have been studying/reading two pages a day of ‘Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures’ by Mary Baker Eddy. I am halfway through the book.
The result of this study has been a definite purification of thought. Thoughts of sexuality no longer have such a hold over me. A great deal of negativity in thought has been uncovered. A better understanding of the working of “animal magnetism” has brought a shift of thought. I have found it necessary to pray earnestly against evil. I no longer watch movies with disturbing images.
It’s been a tough year, including the recent passing of a close family member, but I have found strength in the teachings of Christian Science. And thankfully fellow Church members have given their support.
