Father, as I sit awake in this early morning hour,
my restless thought turns wearily to You.
With me I bring all who lack peace tonight.
May those who feel persecuted, wrongfully accused,
feel the conviction and release of your Truth.
Those who lack cause, purpose or hope,
may they be led by the omnipotence of your Mind.
Let those who feel hopeless, despondent, alone,
rest easy, comforted in the embrace of your Love.
I pray that those who appear tired of the world,
feel right now the vitality and inspiration of eternal Life.
Enable the dear ones whose lives seem colourless and drab
To bask in the beautiful hues of Soul expressed.
Let those who feel the drag of earthly, material pulls,
find liberty in the ever-active expression of your Spirit.
Take all our thoughts, our lives and let them be**
directed, guarded, guided by you, dear Principle divine.
