Another testimony reflects this same change of working environment when personal sense yielded to spiritual sense.
In a field which is renowned for pressure to keep up performance, and for ‘personality competition,’ this testifier prayed consistently to see her workplace as her field for prayer and healing. Her clients and their needs were her ‘practice.’ But still she seemed under increasing pressure from work targets and deadlines, and her income never seemed adequate. It was an imprisoning situation.
She didn’t pray to leave the job, or to get a new one, but simply prayed for harmony and peace and to be of service. After persistent work over quite a long period, the opportunity came to apply for another job. She was able to sign on just over a week ago, and still take time off to attend this meeting! She was given every benefit she asked for, including a bonus! What a change from the previous experience!
She comments that ideas have been coming from God about how to enable the work to grow. She says, “I feel calm and expansive – a sure sign that God is everpresent! My real job is simply to express God, to exhibit a giving heart, and to remember WHO GOVERNS!
